Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year institution
- Preferred TOGAF or related architecture certification
- Preferred cloud certification (Azure / AWS)
- Preferred Salesforce certifications (Administrator, App Builder, Sales/Service Consultant, Application Architect, System Architect)
- 5 to 10 years of experience in IT
- Over 5 years in Salesforce / CRM architecture or leading CRM platform delivery as an architect, technical lead, or principal consultant
- Proven experience designing solutions on the Salesforce platform, preferably across Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture principles, including data model design and security/sharing model
- Ability to provide technical governance and oversight for Salesforce implementation teams
- Expertise in architecting solutions by leveraging Salesforce product capabilities
Responsibilities
- Direct the Salesforce platform architecture and outline the target-state CRM vision in line with enterprise architecture and business goals
- Develop and manage the Salesforce platform strategy and roadmap within the larger Customer 360 ecosystem, aiding architectural analysis and decisions regarding data ownership and system boundaries
- Oversee comprehensive Customer Experience architecture integrating Salesforce, contact center platforms, and enterprise data solutions
- Collaborate with the Integration team to set and govern integration architecture across Salesforce and the CX ecosystem, ensuring alignment to enterprise architecture
- Establish Salesforce architecture standards including data model strategy and security protocols
- Advocate for Salesforce-native functionalities, defining criteria for custom development or external service adoption
- Work alongside Product Owners and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions and ensure compliance with architecture standards
- Assess Salesforce-native capabilities and AppExchange solutions while guiding build-versus-buy decisions
- Offer architectural guidance to vendors and partners; review designs to guarantee quality and compliance
- Document and convey architecture through diagrams and executive presentations
- Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and collaborate with legal stakeholders to identify compliance risks
