Requirements
Must:
- An associates degree in an information technology-related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a helpdesk, desktop, or network support role.
- Familiarity with Windows Server is preferred.
- Experience with Azure and other Microsoft products is desirable.
- Certifications in Azure, PC hardware, and networking are a plus.
- Strong communication and analytical reasoning capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly detail-oriented and able to complete tasks promptly.
- Ability to manage multiple issues/tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Discreet with a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Proficient in short and long-term planning.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and situations.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and utilize a service desk ticketing and asset management system to address issues according to predefined SLAs.
- Respond to incoming IT support calls from staff and strive to resolve tickets via phone or teams.
- Manage and resolve user tickets submitted through email.
- Provide deskside assistance to end users.
- Set up and maintain end-user computers and peripheral devices.
- Administer user accounts.
- Oversee software maintenance related to patching and environment management.
- Offer recommendations for new software and hardware solutions.
- Handle Microsoft Office 365 account setup, support, password resets, etc.
- Provide support for Windows 10, including PCs, laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Support MacOS and MacBook devices.
- Manage collaboration tools, including Microsoft Teams.
- Utilize remote support toolsets for assistance.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks for network, Windows, and MacOS systems.
- Collaborate and engage with external partners regularly.
- Provide on-call support for urgent business-critical IT issues.
Description
We are seeking an IT Help Desk Analyst to join our team at Peruvian Connection, where you will report directly to the Director of Information Technology. In this role, you will provide essential support for our staff, being the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
