Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
- Active Top Secret clearance required
- Certification by the Interagency Training Center (ITC) in Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) is essential
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; 5 years or more is advantageous
- Robust cyber security expertise, with military experience preferred
- Proven ability to work independently and produce concise executive-level reports and presentations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Capability to interpret design plans for implementing technical security upgrades
- Proficient in guiding security measures based on applicable physical and technical standards
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities for interactions with military personnel, federal employees, contractors, and management
- Must comply with minimum physical qualifications per DoD Instruction 5240.05
- Willingness to support travel requirements, both CONUS and OCONUS, with 25% travel expected
Responsibilities
- Deliver TSCM expertise, including planning and executing TSCM missions domestically and internationally
- Develop and present classroom lectures, conduct practical laboratory exercises, and provide tutoring and skills assessments
- Complete at least 80 hours of advanced training annually and conduct new equipment evaluations (OT&E) and TTP’s for supported units
- Execute a comprehensive range of intricate and sensitive technical operations; provide expertise in detecting and neutralizing technologies that threaten classified information
- Assess and evaluate intrusion detection systems, safes, locks, and personnel entry control systems; recommend security enhancements
- Analyze building construction and physical security methods, recommending protective actions for safeguarding classified information
- Offer mobile training, technical advice, and assistance regarding all aspects of TSCM and Technical Threat Awareness
- Research and provide insights into national and international advancements in technical security technology for program office personnel
