Requirements
Must:
- 3–5 years of practical experience in IT support, desktop support, or system administration roles
- Technical education such as certifications or vocational training, with a preference for an Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven skills in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting PC and laptop hardware and peripherals
- Familiarity with managing local office hardware, including basic printer, monitor, and network switch support
- Proficient in administering common operating systems and standard office applications
- Strong verbal communication, customer service orientation, and effective problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized and dependable to coordinate efficiently with a remote IT team
Responsibilities
- Oversee the setup, configuration, and deployment of laptops and desktop PCs for all employees
- Provide prompt and efficient in-office technical support and troubleshooting for end-user IT issues related to hardware, operating systems, and basic applications
- Manage and upkeep all local physical hardware assets, such as workstations, laptops, monitors, and printers
- Act as the designated on-site support for our external IT vendor, assisting with physical tasks associated with security equipment, firewalls, and networking gear as directed by the remote team
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment and document local IT processes and configurations
