Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in business or a computer-related major, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, business process reengineering, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with commodity logistics (Princeton TMX, Bourque, Blue Yonder, or similar TMS solutions).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with full cycle implementations in a senior-level role.
- Familiarity with process flow tools for mapping business processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in creating Excel spreadsheets.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Strong organizational competencies and the ability to manage and coordinate projects effectively.
- Intermediate level knowledge of SQL or other programming languages is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee IT and business projects for the Perdue AgriBusiness division, managing all project phases from initiation to completion within logistics systems.
- Collaborate with teams of business associates, technical staff, and consultants to develop efficient solutions tailored to business needs using project management skills for logistics applications.
- Complete system configuration and testing to align with the design criteria of strategic projects in respective areas.
- Analyze and interpret business requirements to formulate business solutions.
- Work alongside technical teams on solution development, enhancements, reporting requirements, and testing protocols.
- Provide support for Perdue AgriBusiness applications, including Transportation Management Systems for various shipping methods.
- Partner with the IT Application Manager to implement and promote project management best practices for the PAB IT team, including effective software usage and project prioritization.
- Manage structured database systems employing SQL-based technologies.
- Analyze project data, develop reports, and maintain project databases and documentation.
- Ensure high levels of productivity and quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Independently manage and complete projects and tasks within deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Establish project timelines and utilize appropriate tools for scheduling and tracking.
- Maximize technology use to enhance and refine business processes.
- Determine project resource needs and secure necessary resources, defining timelines and utilizing project management tools accordingly.
- Build strong working relationships across Application Systems, other IT departments, consulting teams, and the broader business community.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
