Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience OR a masters and 3 years experience OR a High School diploma/equivalent with 9 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- On-site work at Schriever SFB, near Colorado Springs, CO
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a POLY
- Proficient in Java programming language
- Familiarity with Spring Boot framework or similar experience
- Subject to government security investigations and must meet access eligibility for classified information
- Knowledge of IDE for Java software development or similar
- Experience in cloud environments
- Proficient with Gitlab or similar version control systems
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
- Skilled in Docker/Kubernetes
- Knowledgeable in writing Ansible automation scripts
- Familiar with C++ programming language
- Working knowledge of SQL databases
Responsibilities
- Maintain software for establishing connections for status and control of ground equipment
- Provide Java software development
- Manage software for scheduling on-orbit contacts and orbit calculations
- Develop software supporting launch operations with trajectory calculations for SpaceX and ULA vendors
- Offer support to team members focusing on Java development and the Spring Boot framework
- Design React-based user interfaces for operator interaction
- Write microservices that connect with various vendor interfaces for data processing
- Deploy new containerized applications within Kubernetes environments
- Assist with new customer requests by enhancing existing capabilities and creating new functionalities as needed
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for contract growth or sector opportunities as applicable
- Maintain a team presence 24/7 for FROST mission critical support
