Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Masters degree with 6 years, or PhD with 3 years in fields such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Software Engineering. - In lieu of a degree, an additional 4 years of relevant experience along with an active certification such as CEH(P), GMON, GRID, Cloud+, FITSP-O, GCED, GDSA, GSEC, PenTest+, Security+, CBROPS, CFR, CySA+, GCFA, GCIA, or GICSP is required. - Knowledge of Cloud Security Architecture and various aspects of cybersecurity operations, including incident response, forensic analysis, malware analysis, and threat intelligence. - Strong understanding of network and application protocols, cyber vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and adversary methodologies (TTPs). - Skilled in analyzing different types of network data, such as Netflow, PCAP, and custom application logs while utilizing network sensors for defensive operations. - Experience with Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) for threat detection. - Familiarity with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools for monitoring end-user devices. - Proficiency with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools for centralized logging and threat detection. - Experience using vulnerability scanners to assess system and application weaknesses. - Knowledge of log management systems for enhancing incident response and threat hunting. - Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly eligibility.

Responsibilities

- Conduct intelligence analysis and operational planning to monitor, evaluate, and report on cyberspace operations. - Identify potential threats to DoD critical assets and networks, including the DoD Information Network (DoDIN) and Defense Industrial Base (DIB). - Support the US Intelligence Community and Interagency sensor portfolios. - Shape cyber defense strategies through gap analysis, recommending solutions, and evaluating extensive datasets. - Research and assess technical as well as all-source intelligence related to network operations and cyber warfare tactics. - Analyze sensor data and network events to determine their operational significance. - Conduct research on adversary capabilities and develop intelligence assessments, technical documents, and cyber threat profiles. - Create and maintain analytical procedures to adapt to changing requirements and enhance operational efficiency. - Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior government officials.
