Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a pertinent field such as Data Science, with a minimum of 17 years of experience or a Masters degree with at least 12 years of relevant work experience.
- Professional or graduate certification in Data Science from a recognized university or major online learning platform.
- Proficiency in data visualization and experience using graphical applications, including Microsoft Office Power BI and Tableau.
- Expertise in key data science programming languages, including R and Python.
- Experience in managing and integrating disparate data sources, ideally utilizing R, Python, or SQL.
- Background in statistical analysis and development of data mining algorithms.
- Familiarity with extensive data multi-INT analytics, machine learning, and automated predictive analytics.
- Knowledgeable in algorithm development, data structures, and software development methodologies.
- Understanding of coding, scripting, information science, mathematics, machine learning, and visual analytic modeling tools.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to interpret intricate data and derive substantial insights.
- Competence in collaborating effectively with users and stakeholders.
- Adaptability to changing circumstances and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis.
- Utilize scientific methods to convert data into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative outputs that support informed analytic decisions.
- Actively gather data from various sources and analyze it for enhanced comprehension.
- Develop and employ Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) tools to streamline processes for greater efficiency.
- Create high-quality predictive systems.
- Use data visualization tools and applications, such as Microsoft Office (Power BI) and Tableau.
- Manage and integrate diverse data sources, preferably through R, Python, or SQL.
- Conduct statistical analyses and create data mining algorithms.
- Design, develop, and assess cutting-edge algorithmic intelligence concepts and technologies for OBI implementation.
- Suggest advanced statistical or mathematical techniques for alternative identification and evaluation.
- Assist in model formulation or experimental test design processes.
- Share joint responsibility with the team for the development of advanced analytic techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to innovate and enhance exploratory efforts utilizing novel technologies.
- Automate ontologies and associated components to maintain semantic accuracy and interoperability.
- Evaluate data science, AI/ML, and other advanced analytic approaches for potential risks and limitations.
- Work with team members to refine semantic data retrieval and reasoning across knowledge graphs using data query development and optimization.
- Stay updated on independent research regarding analysis methods in government, industry, and academia to inform senior leadership.
- Implement incremental enhancements to tools, processes, and methodologies.
- Provide expert advice on emerging data science methods, tools, and training requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for data science expertise, ensuring compliance with tradecraft standards and analytic excellence.
- Review OBI documentation for completeness and accuracy, providing detailed feedback to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist stakeholders in translating technical documentation into analytic tradecraft compliant language.
- Support and automate entity recognition and extraction summarization in line with analytic standards.
- Conduct audits to ensure systems are used for approved purposes in source analysis.
- Develop and maintain a repository of audit findings to encourage knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Provide technical insight into the development of software and graphics systems.
- Create scripts to facilitate data science workflows.
- Navigate ambiguous information, analyze key questions, and leverage spatial data to develop structured observations.
- Collaborate with vendors and software development teams to execute distributed algorithms.
