Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or 5 years of security experience (4 years of additional experience may substitute for a degree). - Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and Poly. - In-depth knowledge of DoD 5200.01, ICD 705, NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), and related security directives. - Proven experience in managing personnel, physical, and program security within a classified setting. - Skilled in using security databases and clearance management systems (e.g., DISS, Scattered Castles). - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of government and contractor personnel. - Demonstrated capability to handle multiple security roles in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment. - Preferred certifications related to security (e.g., SFPC, SAPPC, SPeD, CISSP, or Security+). - Experience in Special Access Programs (SAPs) or SCI environments is advantageous. - Familiarity with risk management frameworks (RMF) and system security documentation. - Prior experience in federal, defense, or intelligence community roles.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive security support services across personnel, program, physical, and information systems security functions. - Ensure compliance with Federal and Intelligence Community security standards. - Facilitate and manage all aspects of personnel security clearance processes, including submissions, periodic reinvestigations, and transfers. - Collect, review, and submit necessary clearance paperwork in accordance with regulations and deadlines. - Maintain personnel security records, databases, and tracking systems for accuracy and accountability. - Deliver prompt customer service regarding security clearance statuses and related inquiries. - Prepare security documentation, reports, and metrics to back clearance operations. - Support daily administrative security activities, ensuring adherence to DoD, IC, and agency-specific clearance requirements. - Aid in the enforcement and monitoring of SAP, SCI, and CAP security programs compliant with directives. - Coordinate facility and personnel security initiatives, including SCIF accreditation and access management. - Conduct physical security inspections, awareness briefings, and compliance evaluations. - Assist in safeguarding classified and sensitive information, ensuring proper data handling and storage protocols. - Contribute to the formation and upkeep of System Security Plans (SSPs) and security audits. - Participate in information systems security practices, encompassing cryptographic controls and risk assessments. - Oversee classification management to ensure proper treatment of classified materials. - Collaborate with both internal and external security partners for secure operations and incident resolution.
