Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience; Masters Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience; PhD with no prior work experience required.
- Strong understanding of object-based intelligence (OBI) principles, workflows, and tradecraft standards.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities to interpret intricate data and derive insightful conclusions.
- Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, and data integration techniques.
- Familiarity with intelligence databases, software, and analytical tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with users and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
- Flexible in adapting to evolving situations to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain domain-specific ontologies for semantic representation of data inputs.
- Facilitate the integration of diverse data sources and ensure interoperability.
- Create, maintain, and enhance knowledge graphs utilizing domain-specific ontologies.
- Support advanced data querying, visualization, and the integration of intelligence functions following OBI standards.
- Implement semantic web standards (e.g. RDF, OWL, SPARQL) for knowledge model entities, relationships, and vocabulary in compliance with industry and government data standards.
- Establish processes for ontology version control, change management, and stakeholder governance reviews.
- Ensure precision, consistency, and adherence to IC and DoD policies and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve semantic data retrieval and reasoning across knowledge graphs by developing and optimizing data queries through multiple protocols (e.g. GraphQL, SPARQL, SHACL, SQL).
- Work together with team members to validate and enhance automated ontologies and associated components.
- Guarantee semantic accuracy, relevance, and interoperability with existing knowledge modeling and graph capabilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to assess the effectiveness of exploratory efforts to automate ontology generation using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
- Contribute, edit, and store ontologies and knowledge models in Government owned/controlled source version control repositories.
