Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related technical/scientific fields (e.g., engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, computer science) or 6 years of relevant experience in place of a degree - Over 6 years of professional experience in government or industry focusing on areas such as DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, or system engineering of large complex Systems of Systems/Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments - TS/SCI clearance adjudication or the ability to obtain SCI clearance and pass a polygraph - Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages (desired) - Knowledge of Software Development Frameworks (desired) - INCOSE Associate System Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification (desired) - Documented experience in the geospatial intelligence field (desired) - Active membership or participation in relevant professional organizations (e.g., ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, USGIF) (desired) - Understanding of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, geographic information systems, or related disciplines (desired) - Demonstrated knowledge of NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises (desired)

Responsibilities

- Implement requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, and reliability assessments, as well as testing and evaluation across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency settings - Drive planning initiatives, including requirements analysis, architecture alignment, and evaluation of workflows, cloud services, and system performance constraints - Generate solution designs based on emerging technologies and requirements while offering mentorship and technical guidance to Junior Engineers - Aid Government stakeholders in converting mission objectives and customer requirements into precise system specifications - Ensure the allocation and traceability of requirements to system architecture components and program execution activities - Contribute to efforts in system integration to maintain alignment across platforms and services - Engage in Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), trade studies, and in-depth engineering assessments - Assist Government teams with strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, and risk management activities
