Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Malware Analyst or Engineer
- DoD 8140/DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory
- Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance
- Proficient understanding of source code, hex, binary, and data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with security protocols, incident handling, and authentication technologies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Act as a representative for USCYBERCOM, assisting with requirements and integration for malware analysis
- Analyze malware behavior through dynamic analysis and reverse engineering methods
- Produce detailed malware reports to assist in identifying and mitigating future cyber threats
- Support Mission Assurance (MA) product delivery by managing malware analysis efforts in cyberspace operations
- Provide updates regarding assigned Workflow Management System (WMS) malware tasks and engage in technical discussions to guide analysis strategies
- Facilitate and participate in the development of System Security Plans (SSP) for new malware analysis systems
