Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline, such as Data Science, with at least 3 years of professional experience or 7 years without a degree.
- Proficiency in coding, scripting, information science, mathematics, machine learning, and visual analytic modeling tools to facilitate all-source intelligence analysis.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to interpret intricate data and derive meaningful insights.
- Aptitude for collaborative work with users and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Masters degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, is preferred.
- Additional professional or graduate certification from a recognized university or major online learning platform is a plus.
- Experience in customer environments is advantageous.
- Must possess an Active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to obtain a CI Poly, with U.S. Citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses in data science, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical assessment.
- Employ scientific techniques to convert data into graphical, written, and verbal narratives that inform high-quality analytical decisions.
- Actively gather data from various sources to enhance understanding.
- Develop and utilize AI/Machine Learning tools to automate processes for improved efficiency.
- Create high-quality predictive systems.
- Use data visualization tools, including Microsoft Office (Power BI) and Tableau.
- Work with major data science programming languages such as R and Python.
- Manage and integrate disparate data sources, ideally through R, Python, or SQL.
- Conduct statistical evaluations and apply data mining algorithms.
- Collaborate with senior data scientists to design, develop, and assess innovative algorithmic intelligence solutions for OBI.
- Recommend advanced statistical or mathematical techniques that could assist in evaluating alternatives.
- Contribute to formulation models and experimental design.
- Share responsibility with the team for advancing analytical techniques and assessments.
- Work together with colleagues to refine exploratory efforts utilizing novel technologies.
- Automate ontologies and related components to guarantee semantic precision, relevance, and interoperability.
- Review data science, AI, ML, and other advanced analytical methods for inherent risks, biases, and limitations.
- Collaborate on semantic data retrieval and reasoning across knowledge graphs through the optimization of data queries via multiple protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with independent research on analytical methods in government, industry, and academia, ensuring senior leadership is informed of advancements.
- Implement incremental improvements to tools, capabilities, processes, and methodologies.
- Provide expertise in emerging data science methods, tools, and algorithms.
- Act as the primary contact for data science proficiency, ensuring adherence to tradecraft compliance and analytical standards.
- Assess OBI documentation for completeness and precision, offering thorough feedback to stakeholders.
- Guide stakeholders on OBI governance and knowledge modeling best practices for AI system development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate to establish practices for responsible AI development that incorporate bias detection and adherence to standards and security policies.
- Facilitate stakeholders in converting technical documentation into compliant analytical language.
- Automate entity recognition and extraction summarization according to analytical standards.
- Perform audits to ensure compliant system usage for approved analyses in all-source evaluations.
- Maintain a repository for audit findings and recommendations to foster knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Contribute technical insights into software and graphing systems development.
- Create scripts to manage data science workflows.
- Navigate ambiguous information, formulating key questions, capitalizing on spatial data, and developing data structures for observations.
- Collaborate with vendors and software development teams to execute distributed algorithms.
