Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in Systems Engineering or related technical/scientific fields (engineering, physics, mathematics, etc.) or 18 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 18 years of professional experience in government or industry in relevant fields, including DoD/IC Acquisition Process and system engineering of large complex Systems of Systems.
- Proficiency in the systems engineering lifecycle.
- Documented expert-level experience with the GEOINT TCPED cycle and familiarity with related systems.
- Knowledge of NGA and its Mission Partners.
- Familiarity with GEOINT data and providers.
- TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph assessment.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with Operational Users and developing Mission Use Cases.
- Preferred: Proven expertise in leading complex interdisciplinary projects with significant government visibility.
- Preferred: Technical skills in modernization within the GEOINT enterprise, particularly in AI and cloud technologies.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Jira and Confluence, and knowledge of Digital Engineering processes and tools.
- Preferred: Training and certification in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide integration efforts across PEO and Mission Partners, ensuring synchronization of architecture, requirements, and interfaces.
- Develop and manage GEOINT Mission Use Cases, conducting interviews and identifying capability gaps.
- Create comprehensive project plans, CONOPS, target architectures, and roadmaps, performing analyses to inform system investment decisions.
- Foster strong relationships across governmental organizations while leading project teams in various domains such as Analytics and IT Modernization.
- Promote the adoption of agile methodologies and digital engineering practices to enhance GEOINT mission delivery.
- Engage in governance, configuration, and risk management processes, mentoring contractor engineers at all levels.
