Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree with 3 years of relevant experience; additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree
- Proficient in Python development, particularly with workflow orchestration
- Experience with Elasticsearch/Open Search, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
- Familiarity with state machines, task queues (e.g., Celery), or workflow engines
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and data serialization formats (JSON, XML)
- TS/SCI clearance and ability to pass a polygraph test
- Knowledge of API design best practices and data governance is preferred
- Experience using Node.js is a plus
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask is advantageous
- Security+ or equivalent certification, along with a willingness to support deployed systems testing as a privileged user
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a cross-functional Scrum team to enhance software development
- Engage in software engineering and development tasks, supporting and maintaining existing software
- Utilize Agile DevSecOps methodologies for software projects
- Program and configure software components and systems using modern tools
- Implement automated testing frameworks and work with containers for efficient deployment
