Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent years of software development experience.
- More than 10 years of experience in relevant programming languages suitable for the role (Java, RPG, etc.).
- Full-stack development experience utilizing technologies such as React, Angular, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Spring framework, Spring-MVC, myBatis, and RESTful APIs.
- 2-4 years of experience collaborating with Agile teams.
- 1-2 years of experience leading medium to large sized projects and diverse teams.
- Capability to conduct new-hire interviews.
- Expert understanding of the entire system development lifecycle.
- Proficient knowledge of relevant design frameworks and patterns with experience in their implementation in software development.
- Competence in taking ownership of multiple applications.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both business and IT leaders.
- Ability to design and propose architectural frameworks and database designs.
- Skills to accurately estimate and oversee medium to large-sized projects.
- Experience in training end-user groups on utilizing completed solutions.
- Strong ability to develop systems that fulfill architectural standards, ensuring the code is reusable and scalable.
- Regular and predictable full attendance is a critical aspect of the role.
- Willingness to travel as needed, adhere to a required schedule, work at the designated location, complete the employment application, and submit to a background check (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- I will effectively guide teams through the application lifecycle, including discovery, framing, design, development, testing, release, and support, according to detailed requirements.
- I will recommend conceptual designs and architectures, delivering outputs for various medium to large complex projects on time and within budget.
- I will troubleshoot and debug to enhance performance and perform problem analysis.
- I will work with product owners and facilitate collaborative sessions to gather and understand requirements and acceptance criteria, transforming them into technical specifications.
- I will collaborate with product owners on user acceptance testing and quality assurance, ensuring that deliverables are thoroughly tested.
- I will be responsible for creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, goals, and deployment strategies.
- I will take part in design and deployment tollgate reviews, gaining buy-in from cross-functional teams, including QA, Architects, Security, Webmasters, and Operations.
- I will effectively document systems, software architecture, and processes, including application documentation and dependency diagrams.
- I will provide constructive feedback to department management regarding team members assigned to projects and assist in their performance and development planning.
- I will conduct technical interviews for new hires.
- I will manage other projects as assigned.
