Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Systems, or possess equivalent development experience.
- I have over 12 years of diverse experience and knowledge of relevant programming languages, frameworks, application architecture, and enterprise design patterns.
- I possess 2-4 years of experience leading technical projects.
- I am proficient in technologies and frameworks such as Java, Angular, Python, Spring, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, containers, microservices, REST APIs, and CI/CD.
- I have experience in architecting web applications utilizing microservices and RESTful services, along with modernizing legacy applications.
- I understand Domain Driven and Event Driven Architecture, and have experience with Kafka and AWS.
- I am adept in software engineering, application architecture, and enterprise architecture (both on-premises and cloud).
- I have a good grasp of data security and privacy technologies and processes.
- I am aware of key digital technology trends and the vendor landscape.
- I have experience in developing and supporting critical business applications and possess demonstrated expertise in application development life cycles and methodologies.
- I have the ability to mentor diverse teams and effectively communicate with IT and business leaders.
- I understand that regular, predictable attendance is essential for this role, and I am willing to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and complete the necessary employment application, including a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- I am tasked with designing and implementing enterprise-level application systems while making company-wide technology recommendations.
- I actively support compliance with application architecture standards, principles, and frameworks.
- I contribute to the creation and maintenance of reference architectures and roadmaps for deploying digital technologies.
- I participate in the governance process for digital technologies and support deployment projects as needed.
- I ensure support for Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) aspects related to digital technologies.
- I conduct research and analysis on third-party software solutions, making recommendations on whether to utilize external software or to develop solutions internally.
- I utilize various tools and techniques to troubleshoot and debug application and software issues and significantly contribute during production triage calls.
- I proactively identify and address strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in application architecture.
- I manage projects and solutions to meet client expectations.
- I collaborate closely with the Architecture team to assess the quality of tasks and provide ongoing feedback to project team members.
- I guide and assist Application Development Leads, associates, and contractors in understanding software development frameworks, best practices, and architectural patterns.
- I participate as a stakeholder in Design and Deploy Tollgate reviews.
- I conduct technical interviews for new hires.
