Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated project management experience in application development, infrastructure deployment, and process enhancement. - Background in information technology is essential. - Project Management Certification or relevant formal project management training is required. - Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle or Application Development. - Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred. - Proficient in computer applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access. - Proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects. - Strong understanding of the project management lifecycle. - Comprehensive knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

- Provide full-scale project management for our most significant enterprise-wide technology initiatives. - Manage multiple IT projects concurrently, with a focus on strategic and large-scale company projects. - Ensure all program activities, budgets, and resources align with schedules and eliminate the need for rework. - Maintain and apply Penskes Project Management Methodology, including documentation and tools. - Oversee all phases of project management from initiation to closing for both waterfall and agile development projects. - Collaborate with IT and business process stakeholders to gather and outline project requirements. - Work alongside engineers, designers, researchers, and product owners to translate technical needs into clear user stories or specifications. - Act as the project architect to ensure cross-functional elements integrate effectively. - Develop and manage work breakdown structures, milestone measurements, and delivery timelines. - Identify project dependencies and manage critical path deliverables effectively. - Communicate program status, scope adjustments, issues, and risks to leadership. - Develop project budgets capturing all expenses for project resources. - Participate in agile practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Monitor all project activities, budgets, and resources to ensure compliance with schedules and cost constraints. - Facilitate project sessions, updates, and committee meetings. - Address project-related issues promptly, holding team members accountable for deliverables. - Manage communication throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring efficient information flow among stakeholders. - Set up appropriate tools for tracking project documentation and sharing information. - Effectively close projects and conduct after-action reviews to uncover areas for process improvement. - Collaborate with leadership to align projects with approved programs and manage client expectations tactfully. - Provide mentorship and training on Penskes project management tools and methodologies. - Engage in vendor sourcing activities, including RFP, RFQ, and RFI development. - Contribute to contract review sessions and technology research related to projects. - Manage vendor relationships to facilitate application development and validate deliverable requirements. - Prepare project documentation and presentations for various partners. - Maintain and execute software development iterations to define project activities and resources needed. - Identify and implement new project management methodologies and tools as necessary.
