Senior Cloud Systems Admin

- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or 7+ years of equivalent experience - Over 7 years of experience in supporting applications and operations in Microsoft SaaS and Azure Cloud - Preferred certifications related to cloud environments, such as MCSE or AZ-305: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure - Strong experience in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft cloud solutions, including key services related to Compute, Storage, Network, and Security - Required knowledge of Exchange 202X, Hybrid Exchange, and Prof Point Security - Familiarity with backup, restoration, recovery, and high availability strategies for Microsoft Azure environments - Strong understanding of IaaS and PaaS services - Experience in Windows Server and SQL database creation, configuration, upgrades, migration, and patching - Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving performance, connectivity, and security issues within M365 and Azure environments - Knowledge of PowerShell, SQL, YAML, and JSON ecosystems - Ability to identify and troubleshoot Azure server and SQL database-related resources - Strong background in complex Active Directory, Azure AD, and LDAP with adherence to standards and procedures - Advanced knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, and Windows Authentication - Familiarity with network protocols like DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, SFTP - Understanding of network and TCP/IP routing/subnetting - Insights into F5/Palo Alto network equipment, routing, switching, and firewall management is a plus - Basic proficiency with Windows operating systems - Working knowledge of VPN connectivity and client troubleshooting - Expert PowerShell skills - Experience managing/maintaining GPOs in Azure AD and Active Directory - Regular, predictable, full attendance is critical - Willingness to travel as necessary and fulfill employment application, background investigation, and drug screening requirements
