Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required; alternatively, 5 years of relevant IT management experience.
- Preferred 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Minimum of 5 years overseeing multiple enterprise-level IT Infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in designing, analyzing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
- Knowledgeable in cloud platform management and infrastructure architecture, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and OCI.
- Proficient in S3, EC2, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, Networking, and Automation.
- Experienced in ensuring uptime, performance, and responsiveness in high-availability infrastructures.
- Familiarity with Linux infrastructure support and security practices.
- Skilled in multi-cloud integrations and understanding of cloud migrations.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Experience managing a 24x7 production environment.
- Willingness to travel 5-10% as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Develop and recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Coordinate team operations on enterprise projects to achieve aligned objectives.
- Implement analytics that enable smarter and faster business processes.
- Ensure cloud environment reliability, performance, recoverability, and security.
- Manage daily operations, including support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud services.
- Collaborate with technical teams to establish and enforce best practices.
- Ensure 24x7 functional and cost-effective systems support.
- Plan for organizational growth and prepare business projections.
- Assess system reconfigurations and execute as needed.
- Research and implement new tools and methodologies.
- Act as a thought leader, facilitating technical decision-making.
- Thrive under pressure while managing evolving priorities and deadlines.
- Lead projects while working closely with business stakeholders.
