Integration Architect - Cloud solutions

- Design and execute integration solutions utilizing REST APIs, messaging, and event streams to link various IoT/data sources with analytics and Big Data platforms - Employ standard patterns (request/response, pub/sub, asynchronous messaging, orchestration, choreography) for creating dependable and scalable integrations - Develop and maintain reusable integration modules, connectors, and utilities with technologies like Kafka, gRPC, GraphQL, and API gateways - Architect backend integration frameworks that facilitate data-driven web interfaces, ensuring efficient and controlled data flow between UI components and Big Data systems - Design both streaming and batch data pipelines, optimizing schemas, topics, and event contracts in collaboration with product and data architecture teams - Enhance and expand enterprise Apigee adoption by configuring proxies, policies, caching, quotas, security, and monitoring for high-throughput environments - Establish and advocate for API design guidelines and governance; drive API performance, observability, and lifecycle management across teams - Build producers/consumers and streaming applications using Kafka (or similar), involving schema registry management, topic design, and consumer group strategies - Advocate for event-driven architecture practices and intertwine EDA with microservices and analytical use cases - Integrate security by design (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS), secrets management, and zero-trust principles into integration components - Implement observability practices (structured logging, distributed tracing, metrics); contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, security checks, and deployments - Engage in design reviews, code evaluations, integration testing, and performance enhancement; provide Tier-3 troubleshooting support - Convert target architecture and reference models into detailed technical designs and roadmaps - Foster collaboration across cloud and on-premise environments; ensure alignment with enterprise standards and data governance - Mentor developers and elevate integration practices within product teams - Undertake any additional projects and assignments as required
