Data Engineering Manager

- Lead and guide a team of data engineers, architects, and analysts in delivering scalable and high-performance data solutions - Develop and implement the enterprise data strategy, architecture, and governance frameworks - Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT managers to establish sprint plans and deliverables using Agile methodologies - Promote the use of Generative AI capabilities for data summarization, metadata enrichment, and intelligent query generation - Oversee the design and deployment of logical and physical data models that meet business needs and data architecture standards - Manage and enhance the Penske Enterprise Data Warehouse, supporting various domains such as Lease, Rental, and Finance - Architect and supervise data ingestion, transformation, and engineering pipelines utilizing Talend, SAP BODS, Spark EMR, Snowflake, Airflow, and other tools - Create and maintain Spark-based reusable frameworks for data engineering and data quality validation - Design and deploy Python microservices for REST APIs within Kubernetes environments - Implement observability practices across data platforms to ensure workflow reliability, performance, and traceability - Spearhead the implementation of machine learning, Generative AI, and predictive analytics solutions, managing data preparation and model deployment in cloud settings - Prepare deployment strategies and conduct necessary meetings for tollgate and change control - Communicate release details to stakeholders and produce release documentation - Monitor data integration workflows in production and address issues with short and long-term solutions - Engage in additional projects and tasks as assigned
