Cyber Security Systems Engineer

- Maintain network, server, and workstation firewall protection - Provide network and application scanning, security logging, and intrusion detection capabilities - Conduct security reviews and define security models for new systems - Supervise associates security access set-up and monitor data system usage to protect company information - Recommend and analyze security products based on their effectiveness - Audit access to critical applications and uphold compliance documentation for SOX and PCI - Review annual SOX and other compliance reports - Collaborate with IT teams to address usability challenges - Manage 1-3 mid to large-scale projects concurrently, as assigned by department and group senior leadership - Mentor Security Administrators and Offshore Contractors - Create and update security architecture for various computing platforms and applications - Develop security policies and procedures for hardware, software, and network infrastructure - Construct and maintain tools for effective IT security administration and compliance monitoring - Formulate, test, and refine disaster recovery plans to protect company assets - Create training materials to foster awareness of security policies and practices within the organization - Possess a comprehensive understanding of Cloud Security fundamentals, including cryptography and the shared responsibility model - Undertake additional projects as assigned
