Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree (Required)
- Over 5 years of full-stack application development experience (Required)
- Proficient in developing backend components, ideally using NodeJS or Python, with a focus on performance optimization
- Skilled in front-end frameworks such as ReactJS or VueJS, as well as HTML and CSS
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational database management systems
- Familiarity with web APIs including REST and JSON, along with authorization protocols
- Strong grasp of the HTTP protocol, including authentication methods, JWT, and cookies
- Experience with automated testing, test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated monitoring processes
- Ability to manage multiple design and development projects in a fast-paced and challenging environment while adhering to deadlines
- Capable of diagnosing and resolving complex user-reported or system-identified issues in production
- Proficient in using Git
- Detail-oriented with the capability to work independently or as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Develop, construct, and sustain dependable, scalable software systems, encompassing web applications, background services, and messaging platforms that facilitate essential healthcare functions
- Write clean, efficient, and thoroughly documented code that prioritizes performance, maintainability, and longevity
- Engage in architectural discussions and code reviews to help steer technical direction while upholding team standards
- Advocate for high software quality through the creation of automated unit, integration, and functional tests
- Collaborate on peer reviews and documentation to guarantee clarity, consistency, and technical proficiency
- Integrate with monitoring and alerting systems to preemptively identify and resolve potential issues before they affect users
- Assume responsibility for diagnosing and fixing intricate issues by pinpointing root causes and instituting enduring solutions
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to uphold application stability, performance, and user satisfaction
- Participate in on-call support to ensure high system reliability and a positive user experience
- Directly partner with product managers, designers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to transform and translate user needs into scalable, secure, and user-friendly software solutions
- Employ product and design thinking to guarantee applications produce measurable benefits and align with organizational clinical and operational objectives
- Contribute insights to product and design discussions aimed at enhancing workflows, usability, and value delivery
- Actively participate in Agile development processes to boost team efficiency and product quality
- Continuously enhance development practices with attention to user experience, maintainability, and operational excellence
- Stay abreast of modern technologies and share knowledge that elevates engineering quality and productivity
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to guarantee seamless application deployment, scalability, and security
- Utilize tools like Azure, Linux, Git, and CI/CD pipelines to automate and refine development workflows
- Support capacity planning and contribute to infrastructure improvements that bolster system resilience
