Senior Epic Application Analyst

- Conducts analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for basic to intermediate issues at the technical, interface, and application levels - Works collaboratively with Epic technical support teams, vendors, and other IS application teams to resolve complex technical challenges - Communicates issues, problems, and potential solutions to team members, clients, and organizational leadership - Demonstrates understanding of integration between various applications and their functionalities, ensuring full system and device integration using interfacing standards - Provides exceptional customer service, acting as a liaison between operational departments and Information Services - Leverages expertise to design, build, install, modify, and test application software to enhance operational processes - Effectively articulates workflow changes related to software/hardware upgrades and vendor-recommended best practices to operational stakeholders - Assists in defining and documenting user requirements and system scope, while reviewing information regarding potential system improvements - Maintains comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and support processes - Adheres to all relevant guidelines, policies, and procedures established by Penn Medicine to ensure compliance and proper audit trails - Performs additional duties as required to support the unit, department, entity, and overall health system organization
