Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required (Masters Degree preferred) - 4+ years of experience in data architecture, machine learning, database development, statistical analysis, and healthcare analytics - Expertise in machine learning techniques, including deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) - Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R, and experienced with ML libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with meticulous attention to detail - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders - Ability to build relationships and trust within cross-functional teams - Strong understanding of healthcare data, regulations, compliance requirements, and data privacy standards - Commitment to ongoing learning and keeping abreast of industry trends in data science and analytics

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with machine learning engineers and stakeholders to address complex data-driven healthcare challenges - Construct and validate algorithms to solve intricate healthcare issues, iteratively enhancing models based on outcomes - Evaluate existing data sources in collaboration with clinicians and administrative teams, proposing strategies for data integrity improvement - Lead multidisciplinary teams to translate project requirements into effective data solutions - Monitor analytical projects and machine learning models to maintain high standards of quality and effectiveness - Demonstrate ethical data use and adherence to legal standards while identifying areas for improvement - Engage in continuous professional development and seek opportunities to enhance team workflows and efficiency - Fulfill additional duties as required to support departmental and organizational goals
