Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in data science, computer science, information systems, or a related field, plus 2+ years of experience in data management, analysis, or business intelligence roles. - OR: Associates degree in data science, computer science, information systems, or a related field, plus 4+ years of relevant experience. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Practical experience with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data gateway configuration. - Familiarity with database and data warehousing concepts and tools. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new data tools and technologies. - Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence (or UKG Pro BI) is preferred. - Certification in Power BI or data analytics is a plus. - Background in social services, human services, or the non-profit sector is favorable. - Knowledge of HIPAA data governance framework is advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. - Connect to data sources, import, and transform data for Business Intelligence. - Collect and preprocess data from various sources. - Design and develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI. - Create analytic solutions through the Power BI platform. - Act as the main point of contact with data consultants and platforms. - Adhere to established security policies ensuring appropriate access. - Work with cross-functional teams to maintain data accuracy and integrity in application and BI systems. - Support data cleansing and validation processes for high-quality analysis. - Conduct regularly scheduled data updates, maintenance, and verification tasks. - Implement company-wide data standardization according to the Data Dictionary and Entry Guidelines. - Coordinate data clean-up initiatives throughout the organization. - Educate team members on the significance of standardized data. - Contribute to the Data Strategy and Data Governance Workgroups. - Lead and manage the cross-functional Data Management Workgroup and Data Team. - Develop, update, publish, and educate on data-related policies and procedures. - Complete assigned HIPAA and security-related tasks timely per technology policies. - Promote a data-driven culture within the organization and assist in developing and executing data-driven strategies. - Provide Power BI training to end-users.
