Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 5 years in Information Security
- Experience in incident response or threat detection; in-depth knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes) or SaaS platforms (O365, Google Workspace) preferred
- Deep understanding of Incident Response principles and processes
- Proficient in EDR analysis and rule creation
- Advanced expertise in SIEM tools or data lakes
- Familiarity with attacker methodologies and techniques, including EDR tooling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Eagerness for continuous learning in new technologies or security domains
Bonus:
- Experience in cloud-native or technology environments
- Prior experience in Threat Intel and Threat Hunting
- Programming or scripting knowledge
- Security certifications such as GCTI, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN, etc.
Responsibilities
- Support Pelotons Security Program by conducting thorough research and strategic analysis of intelligence data for threat hunting
- Stay informed about relevant vulnerabilities, threat actors, IOCs, TTPs, and trends to identify actionable threats
- Provide intelligence-driven insights into both existing and emerging threats, searching for anomalous or malicious activities within Pelotons enterprise
- Collaborate with Security Engineering and the Security Operations Center to establish user behavior baselines and develop new detection and response workflows
- Offer triage support for incident response and investigation efforts in collaboration with Pelotons Security and Operations team and other internal groups
- Recommend and implement countermeasures informed by threat analysis and intelligence forecasts
- Develop, execute, and maintain security incident playbooks and runbooks
- Prepare and present analytical findings and recommendations through briefings, reports, and dashboards for managers and senior leadership as needed
