Requirements
Must:
- Extensive subject matter expertise in data center domains, focusing on storage and/or data backup/recovery solutions
- Expert-level proficiency in architecting and designing storage solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments
- Proficiency with multiple OEMs such as IBM, Dell, Infinidat, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Hitachi Vantara, Vast, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veeam, Brocade, Cisco, and Nutanix
- Over 10 years of experience in architecting and implementing data center solutions
- Experience in developing and integrating new and emerging technology solutions and partnerships
- Ability to participate in customer-facing meetings to identify business and technical requirements for data center solutions
- General knowledge of storage-adjacent technologies including virtualization, containers, servers, networking, operations management, orchestration and automation, virtual desktop infrastructure, and cloud foundation
- Understanding of the value of positioning professional and managed services
- College diploma or equivalent experience in computer science or information technology systems
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong foundation in solution design and architecture
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 25% of the time
Responsibilities
- Lead technical sessions focused on storage and/or data backup solutions to meet customer needs
- Organize engaging sales and training sessions on innovative data center technologies, particularly in data storage and backup solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Pelleras enterprise solution partners for enhanced collaboration
- Achieve sales and technical certifications to solidify expertise in storage and data backup solutions
- Remain informed on technical challenges and trends to provide strategic insights
- Assist clients in their digital transformation through audit, architecture, consulting, implementation, and training
- Identify and validate cloud solution opportunities that align with existing systems
- Promote, position, sell, and oversee projects involving Pellera professional services
