Requirements
Must:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Familiar with mobile testing tools like Appium or Espresso
- Skilled in one or more programming languages including Java, Python, or C#
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Comprehensive understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment as well as work independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proactive in addressing challenges and enhancing processes
- Ethical and critical thinking capabilities
Responsibilities
- Design and Build robust, scalable, and efficient automated test frameworks and test suites
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of automated tests for new features and improvements
- Collaborate with software developers and fellow QA engineers to identify, reproduce, and document bugs and errors
- Continuously enhance automated testing strategies and tools to boost test efficiency and reliability
- Integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline to ensure consistent and dependable software delivery
- Analyze test outcomes, create test documentation, and monitor quality assurance metrics
- Mentor junior engineers and provide insights on best practices in automated testing
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in test automation and software quality assurance
- Undertake other duties as assigned
