Requirements
Must:
- A college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is essential
- 2-3 years of experience in software development is mandatory, with experience in business operations being a significant advantage
- Proficient in various programming languages, codes, and processes
- Knowledge of the latest development software is highly desirable
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with a knack for quickly assessing complex programming scenarios
- Excellent skills in interpersonal communication, both written and verbal
- Business insight is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations of software development to ensure optimal efficiency
- Plan, forecast, and oversee the budget and expenditures related to software development and maintenance
- Supervise the development operations team, which includes computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians, and other staff
- Design, establish, and enforce IT system policies and procedures
- Meet with clients and franchisees to discuss and align system requirements, integration scope, and related specifications and costs
- Coordinate various IT projects internally and with external partners, including the design and implementation of new IT systems and services
- Ensure compliance with hardware and software requirements, reviewing operational reports for adherence
- Approve the development of product and service specifications
- Investigate and develop robotic process automation as needed
Description

Under the stewardship of Chef Kumar Muraleetharan, who took ownership in 2005, we have embraced growth and innovation within the catering sector, guided by our philosophy that Food is a Labour of Love. Recently, we have introduced a franchise program and a central kitchen to advance our business further. To enhance our operations through technology, we are excited to seek a Software Development Manager to lead our development team in creating and optimizing a new intelligent catering management system. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary of $65 - $75 per hour, along with an annual bonus tied to company performance.
