Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and solution design across on-prem, cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and hybrid setups
- 4+ years of working knowledge with Microsoft 365 (M365/O365)
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), and Azure virtual machines
- 3+ years of experience managing and configuring Linux-based systems (e.g., Debian/Ubuntu, RHEL)
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange on-prem
- 2+ years handling Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager (MEM)
- 2+ years overseeing cloud migrations (on-prem to cloud, cloud to cloud, enclave to enclave)
- 2+ years demonstrating responsibility for project and service delivery
- 2+ years supporting development pipelines or scripting solutions
- 1+ years working with Microsoft Defender for Business, Cloud, and Endpoints
- 1+ years managing SSL/TLS certificates for web and application servers
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) is required
- CompTIA Security+ is mandatory
- Experience with cybersecurity technologies (e.g., vulnerability scanning, SIEM, DLP)
- Ability to script or program (e.g., PowerShell, KQL, JSON, REST, Python)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks, particularly NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust and scalable infrastructure solutions utilizing cloud services such as Azure, aligned with DoD regulations
- Assist with cloud migrations and optimize costs for client workloads
- Conduct architecture evaluations to ensure alignment with federal security requirements and industry standards
- Configure and manage Azure services such as Azure Active Directory, Virtual Networks, and Azure Security Center
- Participate in architecture evaluations, client consultations, and the development of technical solutions
- Integrate Azure Cloud solutions and Linux systems with existing enterprise IT and security frameworks
- Implement identity and access controls along with security measures within Azure environments
- Ensure that all solutions adhere to compliance mandates and FIPS encryption requirements
- Provide technical direction to cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers in cloud security practices
- Act as a subject matter expert in Cloud and DevOps during client interactions and audits
- Conduct compliance research and support the development of internal documentation and tools
