Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or 4 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience as a PLC Programmer, ideally in an industrial environment
- Skilled with PLC programming platforms such as Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens
- Competence in HMI design and development applications
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Capability to collaborate within a team and liaise with multiple departments
- Familiarity with industrial processes, machinery, and control systems
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Compliance with all workplace safety and operational regulations
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems using various programming languages including Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block
- Design and maintain Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems in conjunction with PLC operations
- Collaborate with automation engineers to create and implement control solutions
- Diagnose and resolve PLC and HMI software issues to ensure peak system performance
- Maintain and enhance existing systems while providing post-implementation support
- Interpret and assess control system and HMI specifications
- Ensure all automated systems meet industry safety standards
- Work with team members and other departments on project execution
- Document and track revisions and updates to PLC and HMI programs
- Provide training and support to technical personnel and operators on system operation and troubleshooting
