Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or 4 years of related experience
- Proven track record as a PLC Programmer in an industrial setting
- Proficiency with PLC programming tools such as Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens
- Experience in HMI design and development tools
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Familiarity with industrial processes, machinery, and control systems
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems using various programming languages, including Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block
- Design, create, and maintain Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems in conjunction with PLC systems
- Collaborate with automation engineers to design and implement control systems
- Debug and troubleshoot PLC and HMI software to optimize system performance
- Maintain and update existing systems while providing post-implementation support
- Interpret and understand control system and HMI plans and specifications
- Ensure compliance of all automated systems with industry safety standards
- Coordinate project development with other team members and departments
- Document and manage revisions and updates to PLC and HMI programs
- Train and mentor technical personnel and operators on system usage and troubleshooting techniques
