Requirements
Must:
- Technical degree or higher in computer science
- At least 3 years of experience in HTML5 (Canvas and JavaScript/Typescript) slot game development
- Familiarity with Pixi.js or Phaser.io frameworks
- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming, MVC, and other design principles
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining casino games, particularly impactful Slot Games
- Understanding of web browser game development, with a focus on mobile
- Experience in agile and iterative development environments
- Proficient with project tracking tools like JIRA
- Knowledge of Git and feature branching techniques
- Ability in game graphics programming, animations, effects, and performance optimization for web and mobile
- Driven and passionate about making a difference in the iGaming industry
- Highly organized with experience managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proactive leadership attitude and readiness to engage in hands-on work
- Excellent teamwork abilities and adaptability
Responsibilities
- Engage in designing the front-end elements of our Slot Games, including gameplay experience, pace, features, and UI functionality
- Design, develop, and support games using JavaScript/Typescript
- Create new Slot Games utilizing our Pixi.js framework
- Develop innovative front-end development tools, features, or enhance existing ones
- Draft and maintain all design documentation and deliverables concerning our Slot Game development framework
- Integrate game graphics, animations, and visual effects
- Incorporate business requirements and features into games
- Ensure quality and stability of Slot Games and code produced
- Research and analyze casino games to remain informed about market trends and competitors
- Execute additional tasks as necessary

At PearFiction Studios, we are seeking full-time Senior Front-End Developers to enhance our talented team based in Montreal. In this role, you will focus on creating responsive, stunning, and inventive HTML5 casino games tailored for the regulated gambling market. Were proud of crafting some of the finest casino games globally, and were looking for individuals who thrive in small team environments and are ready to take on responsibility.
