Requirements
Must:
- We need basic working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
- We are looking for strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
- We value the ability to juggle multiple priorities while staying well organized.
- We want someone who is eager to learn and develop within IT.
- Prior experience in IT support or customer service is preferred.
- CompTIA A+ certification is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with ticketing platforms or remote support tools is preferred.
- Exposure to networking fundamentals would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- We provide first-line technical assistance to users both remotely and onsite.
- We troubleshoot issues involving computers, printers, email, and network connectivity.
- We set up workstations, user accounts, and necessary equipment.
- We log, track, and manage support tickets accurately.
- We escalate more complex technical problems to senior technicians when needed.
- We deliver courteous, professional, and helpful customer service at all times.
Description
We are Peak IT, a growing team looking for a dependable, customer-oriented Tech 1 Support Technician to join us. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Roseburg, OR, with a schedule of 7am to 4pm. We offer pay of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, paid time off, hands-on exposure to a range of technologies, a team-focused environment, and opportunities for training and career growth.
