Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, and Zephyr, as well as Bluetooth.
- Experience with various Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) including Visual Studio, Segger Embedded Studio, STM32CubeIDE, and Visual Code.
- Expertise in developing firmware for wireless sensors and software for sensor data acquisition.
- Knowledge of power management for compact wireless devices.
- Proven experience in creating and delivering dependable products.
- Skills in embedded systems including bootloads, over-the-air firmware updates, RTOS, threading, interrupt handling, error management, API and protocol development, state machines, flash memory management, SPI, UART, JTAG, and event-driven programming.
- Familiarity with analog and digital circuits, along with the ability to interpret schematics and utilize laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes and power supplies.
- Capability in new hardware integration and testing.
- Daily management of repository commits using git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to explain intricate technical concepts to various audiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and assess multi-node wireless embedded systems to showcase and analyze the performance of in-ear devices and their biomedical applications.
- Enhance battery longevity for in-ear devices.
- Collaborate with software teams to integrate new DSP functionalities.
- Create Windows-based software systems for collecting data during acoustic and vibration testing.
- Engage in data gathering and interpretation of experimental results to assess the function of in-ear acoustic and biomedical devices.
- Document software architecture, methodologies, and result analysis procedures.
- Assist in composing progress reports for ongoing contracts.
- Manage inventory and product documentation effectively.
