Requirements
Must:
- Active SECRET security clearance and the capability to maintain it.
- Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of system engineering or relevant experience.
- Expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Proficiency in using MagicDraw.
- Competence in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven interpersonal skills for effective interaction with diverse teams.
- Documented experience in a collaborative team setting.
- Highly desirable to have a masters degree in systems engineering.
- Previous experience with Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control systems like IBCS, Patriot, FAAD C2, and ADAM.
- Previous experience in integrating Command and Control Systems within a System of Systems architecture.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate as a member of the Solutions System Engineering Team to prioritize capabilities for each Program Increment (PI).
- Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gain insights on the scope of an Initiative/Capability.
- Develop concepts following a Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) approach in an Agile software environment.
- Compile documentation and relevant information into Solutions Initiative Documents (SIDs) and Solutions Engineering Documents (SEDs), refining Jira tickets as necessary.
- Model Capability behavior (SV-1, SV-4) utilizing the MagicDraw MBSE tool.
- Create or modify existing behavior to incorporate Functions and Data Exchanges/Signals.
- Establish Acceptance Criteria for a Capability and trace it in the model.
- Identify and link current Capability Description Document (CDD) and System Specification requirements in the model.
- Recommend subsequent Feature tickets for Program Level implementation.
- Facilitate and lead both Internal and Formal Reviews of an Initiative/Capability.
- Address review feedback and transition recommended Capabilities/Features to the backlog by drafting them for implementation in Jira.
- Participate in regular team meetings, including stand-ups, planning sessions, retrospectives, and prioritization events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
