Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT support sector within business environments
- At least 10 years of remote/help desk experience, preferably in a managed IT service setting
- Minimum 3 years in a senior engineering role
- Proficiency in the ConnectWise ticketing system is a considerable advantage
- M365 Certified: Admin Expert certification required
- CompTIA Server+ certification required
- At least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Net+ (or Cisco CCNA) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Ability to diagnose and resolve PC and Mac hardware, software, operating system, email, printing, and network issues with ease
- Strong knowledge of both Mac OS and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with Windows server services, including distinctions between on-premise and cloud configurations
- Experience with networked printers and print servers
- Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 and on-premise mail connectors
- Proficient in Google Suite Email
- Comprehensive understanding of mail flow in Exchange Online, Google mail, and third-party email filtering solutions with troubleshooting skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint (both Desktop and Online)
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Azure AD Connect
- Expertise in Single Sign-On Technologies
- Extensive experience with Meraki Networking and Cisco Secure Firewall
- Knowledgeable in VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
- Proficient with Cisco Catalyst Access points and wireless controllers
- Experienced with Mobile Device Management and Microsoft SCCM
- Capability to set up, configure, and troubleshoot iPhone/Android devices
- Skills in virus/malware detection and prevention
- Familiarity with IT service ticketing systems and documentation creation
- Ability to investigate email compromises within Microsoft 365 environments
- Proficiency in PowerShell/Azure PowerShell scripting is a significant plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Dependable, punctual, personable, and customer-oriented
- Ability to juggle multiple IT issues with varying priorities and timelines
- Composure and patience during phone-based tech support and potential onsite engagements
- Solid writing skills for documenting completed tasks and maintaining client IT documentation
- Comfortable liaising with diverse clients, technicians, and hardware/software vendors
- Energetic and adaptable, able to transition quickly between various tasks
- Willingness to learn independently and on the job
Responsibilities
- Manage escalated tickets effectively
- Ensure quality control of support tickets
- Provide mentorship to junior team members
- Assist with mini-projects assigned by the Director of Professional Services
- Troubleshoot PC and Mac issues remotely or during occasional onsite visits
- Update client IT documentation and support tickets appropriately
- Communicate with vendors on behalf of clients
- Serve as a subject matter expert for malware and virus challenges
- Maintain and troubleshoot the Microsoft 365 environment as a senior resource
- Address troubleshooting needs for Azure environments, including servers, workstations, and Azure Active Directory
