IT Support Specialist – Restaurant / Hospitality

- Provide Tier I–II help desk and on-site assistance for both restaurant and corporate users. - Support and resolve issues related to restaurant POS systems, kitchen display systems (KDS), payment terminals, handheld ordering devices, and printers. - Address connectivity problems involving store networks, VPN, Wi-Fi, switches, and internet disruptions, escalating to vendors or ISPs when appropriate. - Assist with new store openings, technology upgrades, and hardware deployments (POS, switches, APs, workstations, cabling coordination). - Monitor and manage help desk tickets, ensuring precise documentation and prompt resolution. - Troubleshoot hardware and peripheral issues across multiple restaurant locations at once. - Maintain and configure Windows computers, workstations, Microsoft 365 accounts, and Active Directory user access. - Provide support for VoIP phones, security camera systems, and back-office PC or server equipment as necessary. - Track and oversee IT inventory, warranties, RMA processes, and technology assets at the store level. - Adhere to cybersecurity practices, including MFA, endpoint protection, and secure access controls. - Collaborate with third-party vendors (POS, ISP, cabling, security, and hardware providers) for escalations or service scheduling. - Participate in a rotational on-call support system for after-hours incidents affecting store operations.
