Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience in partner solution consulting, systems engineering, security architecture, or a similar technical role in enterprise technology or cybersecurity.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, including substantial partner-facing technical leadership or security practice management in enterprise settings.
- Preferred certifications include Palo Alto Networks Professional-level certifications (Network Security, Security Operations, or Cloud Security), CISSP, and cloud certifications from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience collaborating with top-tier national VARs or large systems integrators is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal technical leader for designated strategic partners, guiding the development and enhancement of partner security practices throughout sales, presales, delivery, and managed services.
- Establish trusted relationships with partner executive leadership and practice owners, influencing technical strategies and investment priorities in alignment with Palo Alto Networks Platforms.
- Act as a technical coordinator by directing efforts, aligning resources, and orchestrating partner enablement programs among technical sellers, architects, and services teams.
- Facilitate the creation of partner-led services, such as assessment offerings, implementation frameworks, operational runbooks, and managed security services, emphasizing repeatability and scalability.
- Design and implement advanced mentorship enablement that extends beyond product training, assisting partner technical sellers and services teams in effectively positioning and operationalizing Palo Alto Networks solutions.
- Collaborate with Channel Business Managers, sales leadership, and marketing to synchronize partner technical readiness with market strategies, pipeline expansion, and services-led outcomes.
- Offer senior guidance for complex technical issues, providing strategic directions and best practices to empower partners and field teams for execution.
