Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering
- Strong grasp of data networking, security architectures, and contemporary cloud computing environments
- Proven experience delivering cybersecurity solutions addressing technical challenges and supporting new business initiatives
- Ability to influence and secure buy-in from key stakeholders in both customer-facing and internal roles; prior experience in pre-sales preferred
- Proficient in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, and validation engagements
- Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions such as Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies
- Collaborating with Customer Support functions to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions
- Familiarity with complex sales processes involving multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions is advantageous
- Proficiency in English
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets by formulating and executing strategic technical account plans focusing on cross-platform solutions
- Understand key customer business requirements and demonstrate high-level designs across the entire Palo Alto Networks portfolio, creating business value
- Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform, building relationships that enhance productivity, operational efficiency, security effectiveness, and flexibility for innovation
- Conduct discovery meetings to articulate key technical, operational, and commercial needs of prospects and customers
- Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure proper implementation and adoption of solutions
- Exhibit strong communication skills through effective presentations and tailored demos, conducting technical engagements and workshops that simplify complex concepts
- Lead successful technical validation efforts and ensure a technical win in assigned opportunities based on best practices
- Provide cross-functional leadership, driving collaboration and resource orchestration to ensure a cohesive strategy
- Promote comprehensive solutions, including PANW and/or partner professional services, ensuring customers realize business value promptly
- Stay informed about the competitive landscape to effectively differentiate PANWs leadership in the cybersecurity realm
- Invest continuously in personal and professional skills development, actively participating within the Solutions Consultant community and at industry events
- Identify technical stakeholders and nurture relationships with key players to build and drive a security architecture transformation roadmap
