Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio demonstrating design principles
- Proficiency in the complete design cycle: concept development, research, scoping, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing
- Extensive experience designing complex web applications and enterprise software with a focus on user-centric solutions
- Practical knowledge in designing SaaS products prioritizing functionality and user experience
- Ability to create personas, user journeys, storyboards, and user flows to drive design decisions
- Skilled in rapid design iterations based on user feedback and research for continuous improvement
- Strong documentation abilities to present design work effectively to cross-functional teams including product and engineering
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design, and development processes for inclusive and feasible designs
- A portfolio that illustrates expertise in typography, color theory, layout design, and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating design rationale and collaborating with stakeholders
- B.A. in UX Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred)
- Up-to-date portfolio showcasing strong user-centered design and web-based UX/UI examples
- Experience in creating pixel-perfect mockups and interactive prototypes
- Familiarity with the latest design and UX trends
- Proficiency in Figma and other prototyping tools
- Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance workflows and inform design decisions
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to craft new features and enhance existing ones, ensuring they meet user needs, UX best practices, and sound design principles
- Evaluate and improve the current user experience focusing on visual and interactive design, while generating new ideas for future enhancements
- Ensure the product experience aligns with organizational goals
- Conduct and support user research, testing, and usability studies to gather valuable insights and data
- Work closely with the UX researcher to augment findings with customer feedback, driving significant improvements to the platform
- Contribute to and enhance the existing design system to maintain consistency and streamline component building
- Produce storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, visual mockups, and style guides to foster an enriching user experience
- Develop innovative interactive data visualizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including front-end and back-end engineers, UX leadership, and product stakeholders to cater to all needs and requirements
- Play a pivotal role in shaping branding across platforms and support Go-To-Market initiatives
- Provide vision and design leadership for the team, offering insights on best practices, new design trends, and industry developments
