Requirements
Must:
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent military experience with 5+ years in the field
- Proficient in backend development using Java, Go, Spring Boot, J2EE, and cloud-native platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS, along with Kubernetes and Docker
- Extensive knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and performance optimization techniques
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies, especially React.js is a plus
- Experience with Agile development processes and methodologies
- Strong commitment to automation testing and achieving higher code coverage
- Positive attitude towards problem-solving, high-quality standards, and execution
Responsibilities
- Implement the software development strategy to enhance our dynamic, highly distributed system
- Understand and apply software development lifecycle concepts to guide features from inception to delivery
- Collaborate closely with product management, architects, and DevOps to ensure quality releases
- Work alongside customer support, documentation, and downstream teams to facilitate customer success
- Make strategic trade-offs to optimize time-to-release while maintaining performance and scalability standards
- Effectively communicate goals and desired outcomes to internal project teams
- Interview, mentor, and guide new team members
