Requirements
Must:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Preferred: Graduate degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Computer Science or a similar discipline
- Proficient in C programming within a Linux development environment
- Experience with Go programming
- Background in HTTP and web server backend development
- Familiarity with networking development, including TCP/UDP and socket programming
- Experience with Redis, SQL, or NoSQL databases
- Skilled in multi-threaded programming with large-scale, distributed, and/or high-performance software design
- A positive team player who adapts well in a dynamic work environment and is open to learning new technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities for collaboration with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Innovate, design, and enhance the Next-Generation Firewall functionality and performance, specifically working on GlobalProtect
- Take ownership of critical components within the Next-Generation Firewall system
- Deliver high-quality features and enhancements to crucial components with optimal performance
- Collaborate closely with team members and across teams to architect and design innovative solutions as a networking and security expert
