Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in C programming language and familiar with Unix/Linux development environment
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP internals and Layer 7 protocols
- Familiarity with common data structures and algorithms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude in a dynamic work environment
- Advanced software development experience in relevant technologies preferred
- Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science or a related technical field is a plus
- Knowledge in multi-core, multi-process, or multi-threaded programming is advantageous
- Experience in network packet processing software development (7-10 years)
- Understanding of application layer protocols such as HTTP, SIP, H.323, DNS, etc.
- Willingness to learn new programming languages
- Background in large-scale or high-performance software design and development is advantageous
- Experience with deep packet inspection engines and GoLang is a plus
Responsibilities
- Engage in all stages of the product development cycle, from definition and design to implementation and testing
- Create functional specifications, assess task requirements and timelines, and contribute to development, debugging, and support
- Apply hands-on experience with networking or network security technologies during coding
- Propose and execute enhancements to the development process
- Clearly articulate goals and desired outcomes to internal project teams
- Participate in interviewing, mentoring, and coaching new team members
