Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in C programming within a Linux development environment
- Experience with Go and Python is preferred
- Skilled in multi-threaded programming and large-scale, distributed, or high-performance software design
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking software development
- Familiarity with designing and building scalable microservices using modern queuing technologies and data pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes
- Proficient with one or more of Redis, SQL, or NoSQL databases
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience, along with 7+ years in the industry; a graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) is a plus
- Collaborative teammate with a positive attitude who embraces a dynamic work environment and is open to learning new technologies and platforms
Responsibilities
- Innovate, design, develop, and enhance the Next-Generation Firewalls functionality and performance, focusing on device identity solutions
- Take ownership and responsibility for key components within the Next-Generation Firewall system
- Deliver high-quality features and enhancements for critical components
- Collaborate closely with team members and across teams to architect and design innovative solutions with expertise in networking and security
