Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology, or a comparable technical graduation, or equivalent military experience. - Extensive experience in technical support, service, or troubleshooting roles within a network security or equipment vendor. - Proven track record as a technical leader in a relevant field. - Strong understanding and experience in configuring and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols, particularly BGP and OSPF. - Excellent skills in troubleshooting at Layer 1-3 of the OSI model and performing packet capture analysis using tools such as Wireshark. - Proficient in troubleshooting VPN technologies (IPSec and SSL tunnels) and telecommunications hardware. - Preferred: Advanced industry certifications like JNCIE, CCIE, CCNP, or similar. - Preferred: Familiarity with cloud solutions and deployments in environments such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or KVM. - Preferred: Knowledge of programming or scripting languages like C, C++, or Python. - Preferred: Proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

- Manage and drive critical technical escalations that reach the executive engineering level. - Act as the main technical liaison for executive-level clients, providing situation updates, root cause analysis, and resolution status. - Collaborate proactively with internal account teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on significant customer issues. - Address complex technical inquiries during high-pressure client interactions, ensuring clear understanding and confidence. - Analyze intricate network problems, including dynamic routing and security protocols, to determine root causes and develop effective solutions. - Engage in discussions regarding network design, security frameworks, and other technical subjects with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
