Requirements
Must:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical software engineering experience.
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in developing large-scale enterprise applications and high-availability data APIs.
- Professional-level expertise in Java (core backend) and strong knowledge of RESTful API design.
- Established experience with major cloud service providers (preferably Google Cloud Platform or AWS) and their managed services.
- Proficient in Python for data manipulation, along with expertise in Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Solid understanding of various database architectures, including SQL, NoSQL, Time-series, and GraphDB.
- Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) environments and familiarity with modern CI/CD workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead the complete development cycle of backend features and core components, from initial architectural design and testing to deployment and long-term upkeep.
- Design and optimize high-throughput ETL/ELT pipelines that convert complex threat data into actionable intelligence within our data warehouse.
- Develop and maintain high-performance data warehouses and scalable APIs that support PANWs internal security researchers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate intricate business requirements into elegant, scalable technical solutions.
- Promote engineering excellence through meticulous code and design reviews, contributing to the teams architectural roadmap and best practices.
