Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years in security or infrastructure-focused engineering roles with significant security ownership.
- Capability to independently manage projects from concept to completion.
- Systematic problem-solving mindset along with strong communication abilities and a proactive approach.
- Empathy for developer challenges and a passion for creating tools and systems that address these issues.
- Experience building vulnerability management systems that effectively reduce risk.
- Led security incident response initiatives and driven postmortem improvements.
- A strong desire to understand how systems function, with curiosity and persistence.
- A flexible and collaborative work style suitable for a small, dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and collaborate with engineering teams to operate security tools and programs throughout the organization, including access control workflows, vulnerability management, and detection/response systems.
- Work closely with engineers and business units to prioritize organizational needs and maintain a roadmap to meet them.
- Participate actively in design evaluations, threat modeling, and incident analysis.
- Assist teams in making informed security decisions, particularly in uncertain situations.
- Establish high standards for security, accountability, and quality in engineering practices.
